As the fabric opens, the shaft moves downward; as it closes, the shaft moves upward. For this reason, it does not touch tables, chairs or seated people beneath it. This up-and-down movement of the shaft is achieved by a gear system inside the shaft.
• The base of the telescopic garden umbrella has wheels and a marble weight on it. When the umbrella is not in use, it can be moved to a suitable location using the wheeled foot. In addition, depending on the project, a fixed foot that allows the umbrella to be mounted directly on the ground can be used.
